DO YOU LIVE WITH CHRONIC ILLNESS?

Your biography is your biology! Are you decoding these messages?

Body symptoms, whether they are chronic aches and pains or the inability to conceive, have wisdom, metaphoric power and a method to their madness. They are an important language the soul uses to get across information about the true and often overlooked self. Unspoken or unheard emotional needs remain in the body and are whispered within your symptoms. Pathology means the speech of suffering and the logic of pain. A humble and curious approach enables us to begin to understand the wild imagination at work in your symptoms.

Your biography is affecting your biology.

The body is the direct expression of the psyche and it is difficult for the body to hide the truth of our internal experiences. This can be both a blessing and a curse. The repertoire of symptoms ranging from aches and discomfort through disease and illness can be explored as a reflection mirroring the deeper truths from your unconscious. The body uses symptoms to present information of which we are often unaware consciously.  This is how the body speaks to convey our authentic feelings and our unconscious.

True healing

By creating a safe space, observing your body, asking you relevant questions and even looking at your dreams, we begin to reveal your unspoken experiences. Therein, your symbolic body connects with your insightful mind. This body-mind communication is the first step in healing.  Profound feelings associated with your symptoms often arise. By allowing these feelings to surface and by being present with them within our therapeutic relationship, the tension and pain in the body begins to release.  As we directly express the underlying issues your symptoms begin to alleviate. Within such congruency, confidence, strength and well-being are born and true transformation can occur.
